Many students in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province, are finding study abroad a good choice, if the city's recent World University Fair is any indication, since it attracted more than 400 people, with nearly 100 of them deciding on an education program right there and signing agreements with university agents.
Some people in the business say that the international education market is doing good business in Guiyang, with more school representatives eyeing it, following the cities of Xi'an,?Shaanxi province, Chongqing, Taiyuan, Shanxi province, Yichang, Hubei province, Wuhan, Hubei province, and Xining, in Qinghai.
One international agency representative commented, "Of all the Guiyang students with the intention of studying abroad, 90 percent have said the US is their preferred chioce."
The US is also the second most expensive destination for international students, with the most expensive being the UK. Experts remind parents that they need to think clearly the family's financial situation when it comes to study abroad and seek consultation if possible.
