Yuanyang Jiangsu Data Business Process Outsourcing Co Ltd and IKARI Machine and Electric Engineering Industry (Kunshan) Co Ltd in Huaqiao have recently been identified as high-tech enterprises after having passed the second batch of the ascertainment of High-tech Enterprises in 2011.

Those High-tech Enterprises are privileged to enjoy a favorable business income tax rate (75%) together with other national, provincial, or municipal preferential policies, apart from the financial incentive of 100,000 yuan.

Being ascertained as a High-tech Enterprise will effectively promote the technological research and modern management of an enterprise, increase its emphasis on technological research and development and improve its core competitiveness. This is extremely crucial for an enterprise to maintain its predominance in market competition and enhance its brand image both for publicizing and for competitive bidding.

In 2011, six enterprises of Huaqiao have been successively identified as High-tech Enterprises, including the China Data Group (Suzhou), Kunshan Elf General Machinery Instruments Co Ltd, Five Power Electrical Technology (Kunshan) Co Ltd, Kunshan Hwatek Wires and Cable Co Ltd, Yuanyang Data Business Process Outsourcing Co Ltd of Jiangsu and IKARI Machine and Electric Engineering Industry (Kunshan) Co Ltd

The year 2012 is critical for Huaqiao to accelerate modernization. The encouraging achievements that Huaqiao has made in the ascertainment of High-tech Enterprises will stimulate the development of high and new technology industries.

Huaqiao will continuously strengthen publicity of the preferential policies for High-tech Enterprises to encourage more enterprises to apply for the affirmation of High-tech enterprises. So far, 12 enterprises have submitted an application, including Yun Chip Micro-electronic Technology Co Ltd and Suzhou Hanfeng New Material Co Ltd.
