Zhou Hongyu, deputy director of the standing committee of Hubei people's congress, visited the Hubei Broadcast and Television Station. He inspected its cultural work together with several members of the Hubei people's congress in the education, science, culture and health committee on the afternoon of Feb 8.

According to Zhou, as an important leading media source of Hubei province, the Hubei Broadcast and Television Station shall develop Hubei TV into a cultural window for correspondence.

Hubei TV will inform viewers on the economic and social strategic status of Hubei. At present, Hubei TV is based on the standards of "orient in Hubei for the voice of central area in China", and, achieve "national first-class and international influence".

Hubei TV will make full use of Hubei's rich scientific and educational resources in program design and production. Moreover, it will provide more convenient platforms for members of the people's congress. It shall also actively develop the cultural industry through this medium.
