Jiangsu Tenesun Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd.

Located in the Electrical and Optical Science and Technology Park of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, Jiangsu Tenesun Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the development and production of air-source and water-source heat pumps and other high-tech products. It covers a total floor area of 12,000 square meters and has a registered capital of 21.6 million yuan. The Company is currently the only key backbone enterprise in China which mainly specializes in the one-stop service of design, research and development, production, testing, sales, construction and after-sales service for air-source and water-source heat pump water heater units.

The Company has a professional laboratory for heat pumps, a heat pump research center and provincial heat-pump engineering center. Many new products, including new waste water-source heat pumps, water heater units, and soil-source heat pump water heater units have been developed. The annual output is currently over 3,000 units. It has realized sale revenue of 50 million yuan.

The Company has established long-term relations in technical cooperation with well-known universities, such as Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nantong University, Southeast University, Xi'an Jiaotong University as well as research institutes, laying a solid foundation for the enterprise's technological innovation and research. From 2006 to 2009, the Company undertook five municipal research projects, three provincial research projects and three state-level projects. The KRS air-source heat pump was rated as one of the key new national products, and the Company was honored with the title of Heat Pump Engineering Center of Jiangsu Province in 2009. At present, all the projects are running smoothly and some of the projects have been completed and passed inspection.

The enterprise is superior to others in the heat pump industry with its 23 patent applications for invention, three granted patents for invention and 40 utility model patents. The national standards both for “Heat Pump Water Heaters for Commercial or Industrial and Other Similar Application” and “Heat Pump Water Heaters for Household and Other Similar Application” formulated by the enterprise were promulgated and implemented on May 1, 2008 and September 1, 2009 respectively.

In future, the Company will strengthen the development and promotion of energy-saving products while boosting the popularization and promotion of electrical heating energy storage products so as to make a positive demonstration for energy-saving and storage; and then it will make contributions to the energy saving and environmental protection policies of China.
