Foreigners join in for Spring Festival fun

With the Chinese Lunar New Year fast approaching, Weixing community, Binhu district, Wuxi, invites local foreigners to take part in writing Spring Festival couplets. The community has some 800 foreign residents from the US, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Finland and Malaysia, and most of them will spend the holiday in Wuxi. [Photo from wxrb.com] |
The former Wuxi New District, now known as Wuxi Xinwu district or Wuxi National Hi-tech district, was founded in 1992 and underwent administrative changes in 1995, 2002 and 2005.
