Jiangxi tourism performs better this year

Jiangxi province has received 16,145 tourists by September 2012, up 28.45 percent and tourism revenues have reached 111.90 billion yuan ($ 17.89 billion), an increase of 31.59 percent to surpass tourism revenues from last year.

All strategies show the marketing impact would be reflected in the third quarter, to attracts more tourists to Jiangxi and to enhance overall benefits.

Jiangxi tourism industry enjoyed rapid developments in 2011, with tourist numbers increasing by 47.8 percent and tourism revenues rising by 35.15 percent. The growth rate ranked No 1 and No 4 respectively in the country.

The province has put more effort in scenic spots construction, management and promotions in recent years, such as the “Unique Landscape in Jiangxi” campaign for major media broadcasting in Beijing, Hangzhou and HongKong and a large marketing campaign, “ Experience Jiangxi” across the country.
