A grand performance was held at the Rose Square along Yalu River in Dandong city, Liaoning province, on the morning of Sept 5. About 2,000 civilization messagers sang the Song of Civilization to draw the curtain of a series activities of the city's Civilization Messager Campaign.

The Campaign is co-organized by the Dandong municipal CPC publicity department, the culture and broadcasting bureau, the sports bureau, the culture association, Dandong Daily and the Dandong Broadcasting and Television station.

Song Liyue, standing committee member of the Dandong municipal CPC committee and the director of the city's CPC publicity department, declared the opening of the campaign. Deputy mayor of Dandong city Yu Mei addressed the campaign.
