Huayuan street office in Zhenxing District of Dandong city organized 20 garbage trucks and 300 people to clean rubbish in the community.

April 13 is Dandong's voluntary labor day, where a series of actions and activities are undertaken by citizens to improve the city's environmental sanitation. More than 9,600 people participated in various cleaning activities with 148 garbage trucks being used.

Over 4,000 tons of rubbish and 500 kilograms of plastic waste were removed. Roughly 330 places that are usually ignored were completely cleaned and about 5,000 trees were planted on the voluntary labor day.
