The 2012 China-DPRK Economic, Trade, Culture and Tourism Expo held in Dandong was recognized in the "2012 China's 10 Excellent Characteristic Expo" list thanks to its wide influence at home and abroad, announced a source from the Dandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Dandong received the award at the 2012 Conference and Exhibition Industry Annual Conference and Summit Forum held in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Dec 16, Dandong Daily reported.

The Conference and Exhibition Industry Annual Conference is an influential and authoritative annual conference in the industry. It attracted more than 300 representatives from over 50 provincial and municipal administrations, international exhibition institutes, and renowned exhibition enterprises.

This is the first time Dandong has won an award in the conference and exhibition industry.
