A delegation from the Shanxi Chamber of Commerce of the United States visited Shanxi on June 13 to seek new business partnerships.

Jin Dianhong, executive chairman of the Shanxi Chamber of Commerce USA, introduced projects for investment in Shanxi at the third US International Shanxi Merchants Forum, promoting 10 projects during a business-matching seminar.

Wang Weiqing, top official of the Shanxi Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, furthered discussions on trade, investment, new technologies, new materials and intelligent transportation with the visiting delegation.

To attract more overseas Chinese to help develop the economy in Shanxi, the Shanxi Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese launched a special event focusing to invite overseas Chinese to invest and partner with Shanxi across various fields.

Founded in 2015, the Shanxi Chamber of Commerce USA is a non-governmental and non-profit chamber of commerce targeted at American business, particularly merchants related to Shanxi. It now has six chapters across the USA, including Boston and Dallas.
