Shanxi Agricultural Products Trade Expo takes place in September or October biennially.

The expo has been sponsored since 2009 by China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Shanxi provincial government, All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

It aims to showcase new agricultural products, technologies and equipment as well as facilitate trade, promotion of farm specialties and the introduction of advanced agricultural technologies and professionals.
