Officials attend an oath-taking ceremony in Linfen, North China’s Shanxi province, on Aug 30. The ceremony was held for more than 1,000 volunteers who will offer services for the 2018 Shanxi Tourism Development Conference to be held in Linfen from Sept 19 to 21. The volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and are expected to play an important part in the event, which is a platform for Shanxi to promote its traditional culture and long history, as well as boost the development of modern tourism.
