A tourism promotion meeting focusing on Shanxi’s ancient history and scenery was held in Linfen city, Shanxi province, on Sept 20.

More than 200 representatives of sister cities, embassies in China, travel agencies, internet companies and tourism associations attended the meeting.

A variety of videos, talks and PPT presentations took place with the aim of promoting Linfen and Shanxi province. Attendees got to hear about dining, shopping and entertainment options available for visitors.

Following the promotion event, representatives of tourist attractions in Shanxi also took part in business matching events with local travel agencies.
