Cinematic city walk: Explore Beijing's famous filming locations

As the 15th Beijing International Film Festival approaches, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism has unveiled 12 themed routes inviting locals and visitors to experience Beijing through the lens of cinema.

China Daily journalist Yan An embarked on one such journey, tracing filming locations from The Last Emperor, Farewell My Concubine, and Big Shot's Funeral—rediscovering iconic scenes and hidden stories on a cinematic city walk.
