The No 11 Yard Art Park is a gathering place for the culturally and artistically inclined. The small factory zone, similar to Beijing's 798 Art Zone, hosts studios, creative workshops, creative restaurants, galleries and culture bars.
Shenyang Tiandi adopts a new commercial design model from Hong Kong. The atrium provides an indoor square featuring modern sculptures and fountains. Retail stores surround the atrium with diverse commercial spaces devoted to gyms, bookstores, coffee shops and cinemas. Shenyang Tiandi has distinguished itself from the traditional mall model and has become a commercial hub of Shenyang.

In Shenshuiwan Park in Shenyang's Heping district, Yunyang Pavilion is a steel building in the style of the Liao Dynasty (916-1125). The main building is a four-pavilion tower and the park acts as the main stage for a variety of performances and cultural activities.
