Annual intl equipment manufacturing expo coming to Shenyang

The 17th China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME) will be held at Shenyang International Exhibition Center in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, from Sept 1 to 5, according to a meeting of the event’s organizing committee held on July 31 in Beijing.

Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, CIEME has been held in Shenyang since 2002, from Sept 1 to 5 every year.

Themed around “Intelligent manufacturing and revitalization of Northeast China”, this year’s event will cover an exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, including outdoor and indoor areas.

Nine professional exhibition areas will showcase high-tech equipment such as artificial intelligent robots, industrial robots, and special equipment from fields including environmental protection, transportation, and new energy.

As of July 30, a total of 650 companies from 12 countries and regions worldwide, including the United States, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Indonesia, have signed up for the exhibition, reserving 2,650 booths.

During the event, several forums and meetings will be held, with topics ranging from the revitalization of Northeast China and international high-end equipment manufacturing to robots, and sustainable development.
