The former site of Zhicheng Bank is situated at Zhonghua Road. It was reorganized as a private joint-stock bank from five private banks and was built in 1932.
The former site of HSBC Bank is located at Shiyiwei Road, which was built in 1931 and designed by the British. It was one of the few large reinforced concrete buildings in Shenyang at that time.
The former site of Citibank is located at Shiyiwei Road and was built in 1928, and was designed by Americans.
The former site of the official modern bank of three provinces in Northeast China in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) is located in Chaoyang Street, which was the first modern bank in Northeast China and was the core financial institution in the area, controlled by Zhang Zuolin, a former army marshal.
