Recycling earns supermarket credit in Shenyang

Recycling bins for unwanted items are pictured in Shenbei new district in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Sept 9. Residents can put things they no longer need into the recycling boxes and accumulate points on a card which can then be used to exchange goods at participating supermarkets. To offer convenience to residents, staff members working for recycling platforms are available to collect things from people’s homes.
