Shenyang Art Festival looks for logo design

The 2019 Shenyang Art Festival will be held in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, from September to October.

The organizer is currently seeking designs for the festival’s official logo.

I. Requirements

1. The design should revolve around the phrase “the city is beautiful because of art”. It should reflect Shenyang’s culture and have strong artistic appeal.

2. The logo must be aesthetically pleasing and easy to print and promote.

II. Notice

The designs must be completely original and must not contain content that violates national laws and regulations. The winning piece will be owned by the Shenyang municipal culture, tourism, broadcasting, and television bureau (not limited to rights of ownership, modification, and use).

III. Awards

The designs will be judged by experts, with three designers entering the final round of selection. The finalists will receive a certificate, be invited to the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival, and be provided with four tickets for two shows. The winner will receive 5,000 yuan ($712.8) and the runner-ups will receive 500 yuan each. The results will be published.

V. Participation

The size of the electronic design should be A4, and it must be in JPG format with RGB coloring. The resolution should be at least 600dpi. The ideas behind the logo should be explained.

VI. Submission

1. The submitted work must include the applicant's name, ID number, unit name, mailing address, zip code, contact number, e-mail address, etc. The time of submission is based on the time the email was received.

VII. Important notes

1. There are no registration fees.

2. Applicants must ensure that the submitted manuscript does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Any legal issues involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc., shall be borne by the applicant.

3. The submitted works will not be returned, so it is recommended that participants keep their manuscripts.

4. If the design is adopted, it will be owned by the Shenyang municipal culture, tourism, broadcasting, and television bureau, and the designer no longer has the right to use it.

5. All applicants are assumed to have accepted the terms of the activity.

6. This activity is under the supervision of the Shenyang municipal culture, tourism, broadcasting, and television bureau.
