Shenyang holds snowfield rescue training

Members from the snow patrol at the Jackson Hole ski resort in the United States offered training at the Shenyang Guaipo international ski resort in Shenyang, in Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Dec 14.

The training included snowfield rescues, safe operation of a ski resort and first aid in an emergency. They also shared patrol experiences on the snowfields.

The Jackson Hole ski resort is an internationally popular hot spot for global skiing enthusiasts, for its rugged mountainous fields, abundant snow, and professional management.

Representatives from Shenyang Guaipo international ski resort, Shenyang Northeast Asia ski resort, Shenyang Baiqingzhai ski resort and other ski resorts in Liaoning province, participated in the training.

Organizers said the training offered a platform for Liaoning ski resorts to exchange their operations experience, so as to promote the winter sports sector in the province.
