The launch of the opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of the first China Tourism Brand Festival and Anhui Top 100 Tourism Brand Awards ceremony was held at Swan Lake Hotel in Hefei, the capital of Anhui province, on July 14.

The brand festival, themed 'power of brand' is aimed at arousing brand awareness in the provincial tourist market.

A number of network media outlets promoted the event. A total of 1,200 people from tourism-related areas in provinces and cities took part in the ceremony, including leaders of related departments, tourism industry representatives and journalists.

Li Guangdou and Zhang Guangrui, experts in advertising and tourism, delivered the key speech. They interpreted the complementary relationship between brand building and tourist promotion, suggesting that brand strategy is key to developing the tourism industry, especially in the new media age. Instead of traditional marketing models, network media and new media should be applied to tourism promotion.

Presentation of the top 100 award

The top 100 tourism brands in Anhui, divided into 10 categories, were selected by a group of experts, media and the public. Qiyun Mountain, Wanfo Lake, Fangte Theme Park and Culture Expo 5000 won the title of 'our Major Scenic Spot Brands' Yixian county, Yuexi county, Huoshan county and Yingshang county gained the title of 'our Major County Brands' The top 10 tourism professionals were also named at the ceremony.

Besides presentation of awards, many wonderful programs were added to the ceremony.

A typecast actor, Qian Feng, imitates Deng's talks.

The event was held in memory of Deng Xiaoping' Huangshan Talks 34 years ago, responding to his call to launch the brand of Huangshan and the central government's latest policies. The event has also increased brand awareness of Anhui tourism, promoting the 'Beautiful Anhui'project.
