Ten cultural Industry parks in Yunnan province were recently recognized by the Yunnan Cultural Office. Among the sites listed is the Kunming Jinding Cultural and Creative Industry Park.

These cultural industry parks listed by the cultural office have played a leading role in the construction of a cultural industry cluster and public service platform in the province. The recognized cultural industry parks can be divided into four categories of industry types, including publishing, cultural and creative service, folk arts and jade jewelry.

The construction of cultural industry parks is expected to promote Yunnan's creative ability. Designated "maker spaces" have been established in the parks to foster a better environment for entrepreneurs.

According to a senior member of the Yunnan Cultural Industry Office, the cultural industry parks have played an important role in promoting the province's cultural industry. Despite the cultural industry parks' late construction, they have a strong development potential, according to officials. To support their continued development, Yunnan has organized a series of activities to promote the parks' operation ability and help them attract investments.
