Glitter in the light of youth

What motivates you to carry out such a long and tiring task?

The 2015 Suzhou Table Tennis Championships has greeted its 3rd match day. Claimed to be "the most followed table tennis event ever" by International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) by crowds of visitors and TV viewers. Behind its success, a group of people deserves enormous credit.

Going through more than one month's training, working more than 12 hours a day, this is what these young university students do every day during the course of tournament. Today we'll pay some attention to the "media workers" among them, the so-called "group of five".

Xu Yan and Xiao Yang are responsible for interviewing and writing; Xu Shanshan and Zhu Mingxia look after photography work, and Ji Peng, the one and only boy in the team, is more flexible as he takes shifts between media and scorekeeping group.

Some of them are motivated to participate out of sense of pride and passion for the city; some see it as a unique chance in their life; some has good photography portfolios and wanted to exercise their talents; while some missed the opportunity to volunteer for the Nanjing Youth Olympics held last year and wanted to take the opportunity this time.

These young faces undertake all media-related work in the volunteer group. With pens and lenses, they capture every moment of their hard-working fellows to make the experience live on for all. After a long preparation and training work undertaken since early March, how do they feel about their job experience in the tournament now?
