Longxing Industrial Park is located in the northeastern part of Liangjiang New Area, with a planning development area of 111 square kilometers (including about 45 square kilometers of industrial area, about 40 square kilometers of urban commercial residential area and about 26 square kilometers of public infrastructure area). The park is connected with Chongqing-Lichuan railway, Chongqing-Huaian railway, South-East loop line, Chongqing-Yibin expressway, Ring expressway, the Central expressway, airport line and light rail lines No 8, No 15, and No 16, and is thus about a 30-minute drive from the downtown area of Chongqing and a 10 minute drive from the airport.

The park is an advanced manufacturing industrial area with "one center and four belts" - the financial business center, the hi-tech industrial belt, the urban functional industrial belt, the logistics processing industrial belt, and the advanced manufacturing industrial belt - of Liangjiang New Area. It focuses on five central industries of: motor vehicles, aerospace, high-end equipment, new materials and electronic information products, and it also involves the Sino-Korea Industrial Park, Sino-Japan Industrial Park, Aviation Industrial Park, International Automobile City, International Education City, Liangjiang New Area headquarters base, International Cinema City, Asia Art Center and other projects, and aims to build large-scale industrial bases.

The park is thus an important national base for strategic emerging industries and an influential area gathering enterprises of advanced manufacturing industries. It has promoted a total of 40 projects, with contracted investment hitting nearly 40 billion yuan – including over 2 billion yuan already received - and it has achieved much success in the development of the industries of aerospace and automotive and headquarters.
