Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area, the first national new zone in the Chinese mainland, welcomed its fourth anniversary on June 18, 2014 when 27 key projects were signed during the same period. So far, 43 major projects, involving a total investment of RMB55.1 billion, have announced their settlement in CLJNA during the fourth anniversary.

It is said that a number of companies from China, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong, including the Zoomlion, Hi-lex and Yintai Group have formally signed an investment agreement with CLJNA and Chongqing New North Zone Management Commission, and these agreements involve high-end equipment manufacturing, high-end medical devices, headquarters settlement, business complex and financial service etc.

Zhan Chunxin, President and CEO of Zoomlion, told the media that Zoomlion's industrial park in CLJNA works as an important carrier for the company's transformation and upgrading. Zhan said that Zoomlion's western base will be committed to high-end equipment manufacturing and forming a new industry cluster with over RMB10 billion in output value.

Danish company Grundfos has also chosen Chongqing for its base in Western China. Liu Hongcong, CEO of Grundfos China, stated during an interview with the media that Grundfos had been developing its business primarily in the coastal area of eastern China since it entered the country over 20 years ago. According to Liu, what has been brought to CLJNA this time is Grundfos' Western China headquarters that will integrate production, sales, logistics and after-sales service and provide services to the ten provinces and cities in the western part of China.

Besides, the Japanese Evaheart auxiliary heart program that features an estimated output value of RMB3 billion, the Oriental Dream Factory program of Yintai Group involving an investment of RMB11 billion and the LETV China (Chongqing) Network Video Industry Base program, with an investment of RMB5 billion, have also settled in CLJNA.
