Yuzhong District and the Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Area signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the “Extended Platform for the Exhibition of Bonded Goods”.

This is in order to expand the functions of the bonded area, promote innovation and development in bonded trade, and accelerate the construction of an inland open economy.

According to the agreement, an extended pilot platform for the exhibition of bonded goods will be established in Jiefangbei to boost the construction of Yuzhong’s urban functional core area.

Since this year, Yuzhong District and the Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Area have cooperated greatly. This follows the encouragement of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, as well as several relevant municipal departments. The “Extended Platform for the Exhibition of Bonded Goods” represents a culmination of all this.

In an act of trans-regional cooperation, an extended platform for the exhibition of the Bonded Area will be established in core business places of Yuzhong District, such as Jiefangbei. This will extend bonded functions and cross-border electric business functions, as well as further improve business.

The investment environment in Chongqing has been improving rapidly and has therefore attracted more and more foreign enterprises. Yuzhong District, an urban functional core area full of high-end brands, has especially huge potential for the development of foreign trade.

The district will focus on the introduction of imported and bonded goods and unceasingly work to improve its own attractiveness. It will also interact with foreign enterprises and promote its strategic agreement.

Yuzhong District will also further explore new development ideas and create a platform for the development of the service industry. According to further research, the district ought to formulate preferential policies to attract and keep enterprises.

The signing of the cooperation is an important achievement for the development of both sides, and it will enhance their level of opening. In its next step, the District will take advantage of policies in the Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Area.

This will bring commercial prosperity, additional resources and attract investment, ultimately accelerating the construction of the urban functional core area and the inland open economy.
