From January to June,?Longxing Industrial Zone in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing Municipality, attracted foreign capital of seven billion yuan ($ 1.1 billion).

Currently, Longxing Industrial Zone is focusing on three key industries: automobiles, aviation, and equipment. For the automotive industry, the plant of SGMW Third Base 400,000 has been fully completed, and entered the equipment installation phase. Automobile accessory enterprises such as Nobel Fuji are progressing well.

For the equipment industry, Zoomlion and other projects have been settled down in Longxing Industrial Zone. Two projects – SK and Brilliant Elevator – kicked off production and the GE project is stepping up construction. Meanwhile, the main building of Liangjiang International School of Chongqing Science and Technology University has finished and will open to students this September.

For the aviation industry, U.S. Engstrom helicopters has officially started operations. Phase I of the Civil Aviation Flight University has been completed and is ready for enrollments. The Pilatus aircraft project, Liangjiang Aviation College and other projects are seeing steady growth.

A spokesman for Longxing Industrial Zone said that for the next step, the industrial park will ensure the smooth operation of the Aviation Industrial Park, Liangjiang International School of Chongqing Science and Technology University and more.
