China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Corp (CCTEG), the largest company in China's coal engineering industry, is planning to launch a series of independently developed smart city products at the upcoming Smart China Expo.

The products include an intelligent city management platform as well as operation and management apps, an intelligent street lamp controller, a monitoring device for urban hazards, an alarm for manhole covers and a monitor for ponding in low-lying areas.

According to a CCTEG staff member, intelligent devices, such as the intelligent street lamp controller, have the ability to dispose problems based on cognition, grasp the rules by statistics and analysis, and apply them in the future.

To improve the intelligent level of society, the state launched 42 related policies in 2017 to support smart city construction. Due to its location in Liangjiang, CCTEG can benefit from various supporting policies.

Co-established by the China Coal Technology Engineering Group Chongqing Research Institute and Chongqing Liangjiang Smart City Investment Development Company, CCTEG has advantages in technology.

With experience in cooperating with international research institutes and top domestic companies, CCTEG has the ability to provide customized project solutions in design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance support.

CCTEG is equipped with a professional team led by academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and is devoted to becoming a pioneer in the domestic smart city industry.

It will build a smart city industry cluster with Liangjiang and transform its technology advantages into development advantages and promote smart city industry and economic development in Liangjiang, said the staff member.
