Let COP26 play its deserved role

The COP26 conference is being held in Glasgow. The first major meeting since the Paris Agreement was signed, it will affect the future of the whole mankind.

COP26 is held against a rather difficult background. With extreme weather events and other climate change effects intensifying.

Worse, there is also the energy crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic to face.

How to curb global warming at such a difficult time?

The developed countries need to invest more in the environment, and less in the military and real estate.

Especially the US must cut its use of fossil fuels,

so that we can leave our descendants a clean Earth, not a ruined one.

There is not much time left to save the Earth.

Hope developed countries do more actions to match their words,

and learn from China in "greening" the world together.
