State Grid Jinchang Power Supply: supporting the high quality development of new energy

On July 7, the 100,000 kilowatt grid connected photovoltaic power generation project of Fadian Youneng (Jinchang) New Energy Co Ltd located in the photovoltaic base of Jinwu highway, Jinchuan district, Jinchang city, Gansu province, was successfully connected to the grid, marking the first batch of 2.4 million kilowatt new energy projects of Jinchang power grid in the 14th Five-Year Plan period all connecting to the grid. Up to now, the total installed capacity of new energy in Jinchang power grid is 5.56 million kW, accounting for 75.6 percent.

Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, Jinchang has taken new energy as the main starting point for adjusting the energy structure and an important support for promoting industrial development, adhered to the principle of "determining the source by the load and linking the source with the load", continued to increase the supply of green power, and regarded "new energy and new energy battery" as one of the 100 billion yuan ($13.75 billion) industrial chains of Jinchang.
