History, cuisine and red carpets: An immersive festival experience

As the core cinema for BJIFF screenings, Emperor Cinemas will be transformed into a “Tiantan Award” themed cinema. The official Tiantan Award selection will be screened here, along with the main creator meet-and-greet events. Prior to the premiere, casts and crew members of the official Tiantan Award selection will attend a Red Carpet ceremony here. The cinema will also prepare exclusive "Tiantan Award" fan gift packages for all fans who attend the event, including but not limited to limited-edition ticket stubs, film merchandise, and autographed photos of the main creators.

This year, for the first time, the organizer is collaborating with Huaxia Film Center - China's first full high-frame LED cinema located in POLPAS, Beijing. Breaking away from conventional LED screen stereotypes, the high-frame LED screen not only matches traditional cinema resolution but surpasses it with enhanced brightness and richer color gradation. Its 360-degree wraparound screen design delivers an unprecedented “space-time transportation” viewing experience.

During the film festival, the cinema will broadcast three Workshop & Masterclass events.

At the same time, in terms of screening schedules, the Huaxia Film Center will partner with Beijing Theater, Jinquangang International Cinema, and the Party History Museum Cinema to form the “POLPAS Film Corridor”.
