Tibetans get aid from power volunteers
As Xizang celebrates the 60th anniversary of its establishment as an autonomous region, East China's Zhejiang province has sent a power volunteer service team to aid people from the Tibetan ethnic group in northern areas. Volunteers from State Grid Ningbo traveled to Driru county, helping rewire aging circuits in 24 households across 14 villages, and upgrade children's educational facilities with donated smart desks and eye-care lamps suitable for high-altitude sunlight. The service team has even rallied over 20 Ningbo-based schools and enterprises to form a "Little Grass Alliance" to start a "power assistance + educational aid" model, aiming to help Tibetan children on the high plateau.
