 我聽之我見： “什么也不要說，黎明破曉，五月的盡頭風吹起白色的沙子……” 曲中反反復復吟唱的這個旋律，營造的是怎樣幽靜的意境？我體會到了一種孤寂，但并不同于“千山鳥飛絕，萬徑人蹤滅”中獨釣漁翁所傳達的禪意之寂。Keren想在歌中表達的是對逃離都市喧囂，追求心靈自由的渴求。

  Words and phrases

1. dice：賭博，或者指賭博不可或缺的道具之一——骰子。

2. compromise：依據色彩意義的強弱程度，compromise可用來指“妥協，折衷”，或者指“危害，淪喪”。分別看例句：
Most wage claims are settled by compromise.（對提高工資的要求大都能折衷解決。）
Such behavior is actually a compromise of morality. (這種行為無疑是道德的淪喪。)

3. glare：該詞的基本詞義是指“光滑的冰的表層”；想象一下，這光滑的冰的表層反射的是什么呢？——炫目的光芒——這就是引申出來的意思啦！請看例句：
You should be careful to avoid the glare of the car headlights. （你得小心，以避免汽車前燈的強光。）

4. stone fishes：石魚，這種魚多產自印度洋和太平洋地區的海域中，可分泌劇毒無比的神經毒素。

歌手在此想以石魚指代“有毒，會傷害人的東西”——或許是焦躁，亦或是憤怒，也許，可能是愛本身帶來的傷害。
