Public Utility Installation at the Laxiwa Hydropower Station (China)

In terms of generating capacity, the Laxiwa Hydropower Station is the largest water power station on the upstream of the Yellow River. Its 750KV EHV power transmission equipment is the first of its kind in the world that has ever been installed in such a high-altitude cold region. Its gas-insulated metal-enclosed transmission lines with a 207-meter-drop in altitude are the first ever used in the world.
