Press conference for CPPCC session held

The press conference for the Second Session of the 11th CPPCC was held at the Press Conference Hall of the Great Hall of the People at 3 pm today. Mr Zhao Qizheng, spokesperson of the Session, introduced information about the Session.

"Ladies and gentelmen,

"Good afternoon.

"As entrusted by the Secretariat of the Second Session of the 11th CPPCC National Committee, I wish to brief you on the session.

"The Second Session of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will open at 3 pm tommorrow at the Great Hall of the People and close on the morning of March 12. The session will last nine days."

Zhao also answered questions from the media concerning the economy, the recent auction of Chinese relics and other important issues.

Over 2,000 members are expected to join the CPPCC session, which kicks off on March 3.
